Service Areas

The Ombudsman can:

investigate complaints against Government departments/agencies and major public organisations for alleged maladministration;
 
investigate complaints against any Government departments/agencies for non-compliance with the Code on Access to Information;
initiate direct investigation into issues of potentially wide public interest and concern; and
   
Delivering education service and information on the work of The Ombudsman. Members of the public are welcome to approach our Resource Centre to obtain published information by the Office and other overseas ombudsman institutions. Outreach talks on the Ombudsman system can be arranged upon request. You can download the application form here. The opening hours of the Resource Centre are so follows :
   
  Weekdays : 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Lunch break at 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m.)
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays : Closed
